Kim Shotola November – December 2022 • Vol 4, No 1 What Is Animal Communication?
When some people think of animal communication, the words animal behavior and body language come to mind. Animal communication goes much deeper than that. We can learn how to communicate with animals, and they can communicate with us. Animals use interspecies communication. They communicate with one another telepathically.
This can be a hard concept to grasp, but did you know that you’re intuitive, too? Have you thought about a person and the phone rang, and it was them? Have you been in the middle of doing something and suddenly you remembered you needed to take your dog for a walk or feed them?
You may think this was just a coincidence but in reality, you were using your intuitive abilities even if you were not aware that you were doing it. This is an innate ability we ALL have inside of us.
Holistic animal care (HAC) focuses on the whole animal—body, mind and soul. Just like humans, holistic care can prevent and resolve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues, resulting in a happier, healthier and longer life.
What Are the Benefits of HAC?
Can help any kind of animal of any age from the comfort of their home.
Helps with physical conditions such as arthritis, pain relief, digestive issues, allergies, and ear problems.
Aids emotional and behavioral issues such as anxiety, fear, aggression, hyperactivity, and low confidence.
On a spiritual level, you can find out an animal’s meaning in your life and assist those ready to cross over, knowing you have an everlasting connection.
Easy to learn—fun and simple for children and adults.
Can be done by distance because HAC is energy based.
Able to save you time, money and your animal’s well-being
While pets desire a forever home filled with love, they also long for the ability for humans and animals to understand one another on a profound heart and soul level.
Animals want to assist you with expanding your consciousness. Those from your past, your present, and even from the wild come to you with messages that reveal their ancient wisdom and can ignite your soul purpose. This awareness can even help you and your animals heal in body, mind and spirit.
Animals can teach you many life lessons and how to take action. They can help you magnify your inner wisdom and sacred connection to all. Animals can show you how to utilize your innate abilities and Mother Earth’s medicine chest.
How do you help animals accomplish their mission that many people don’t realize? Besides providing unconditional love to them, they would be forever grateful if people could learn the language of love through interspecies communication. Other life forms already know how to do this, and animals are excited about the growing numbers of people that are taking this crucial step in humanity’s evolution.
Do you know how magical the wolf is? Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. It is called the star of the celestial wolf, referring to the wolf coming and going between this world and the spirit world. The Milky Way is referred to as the Wolf Road or Wolf Trail, making reference to the road to Heaven. The wolf can help you connect more deeply with those who have crossed over. The wolf has many amazing qualities that are revered by many. Wolves want you to know how they can help you on your life’s journey. The wolf is a great teacher and path-
finder. here are some reasons why:
Think of the teachings and abilities of the wolf as Wolf Speak, Wolf Wisdom, and Wolf Medicine.
Wolf is intuitive and holds ancient wisdom. Their guidance has been ongoing for generations.
They can assist you to become in touch with your body’s own innate wisdom.
The wolf can help guide you on your life path, to take control, and find your sacred direction.
Wolf medicine evokes courage, strength, protection, and healing.
They can show you how to raise your vibrational frequency and block undesirable energy.
The wolf can teach you how to communicate telepathically with animals, nature, and Mother Earth.
The heart and soul connection with an animal or human loved one is eternal. After a loss, it can be hard to move forward in life, and this grief can be devastating. Many people believe they won’t see their loved ones again or be able to communicate with them. That’s not so. Those that have crossed into the spirit world are often trying to reach you in tangible ways such as:
You have a dream about them.
You see an indentation on your bed or other furniture.
You notice something of theirs has been moved.
You see a glimpse of a shadow, an outline, or their physical likeness.
You notice an animal in your home is staring at something, and you don’t understand why.
Animals tune in to their pet parents all the time. With less sunlight during winter, people can be more vulnerable to depression. Pets not only can sense this, they may share the blues, especially if they are so connected to their human or feel that their home life has been impacted. If they’ve experienced any kind of loss, the situation can be more challenging during winter.
If your animal is sleeping more, wants to be alone, is disinterested in activities, or has a change in appetite, behavior or elimination, they may have depression. A vet can rule out any physical conditions.
When the emotional well-being of an animal is affected, they may become withdrawn, stressed, anxious, or even exhibit destructive behavior or aggression. Just like with people, a disruption in their mental state can also lead to health issues. To benefit your animal and yourself, consider the following suggestions.
Animals are on a quest to awaken and enlighten your heart and soul connection. Animals have been watching your soul since before you were born—the animals with you now, animals from your past, animals in spirit, the wild animals and the animal essences (also referred to as guides or totems) are all here to help you become what they already envision.
What do they wish for you and the rest of humanity? A world where you understand animals and people on a heart and soul level. A world where you embrace, utilize and share the messages and gifts from the animals, nature and Mother Earth. The animals are a window to your soul and a doorway to your spiritual destiny. If you let them into your life and allow them to teach you, you will be better for it. The animals can show you the present, help you learn from the past and propel you to your future. They can help heal you on a body, mind and spirit level. The animals can reveal your soul path to align with and ignite your true soul purpose. They are here on a mission far greater than most realize.
Animals play a huge role in intuition. From your pets to wild animals, they want to help guide you in your life. When you become aware of how animals are trying to reach and teach you, you have an awareness about life that is simply profound.
Intuition is also about nature. On a hike, the majority of people go from point A to point B. If they used their intuition, they could tune in to animals along with Mother Earth and her elements, and receive their messages. When you strengthen your connection with animals, nature, and Mother Earth, your intuition increases and creates a ripple effect in your life such as:
You can know what animals, nature, and Mother Earth are trying to tell you.
You have more of a feeling of self-worth while standing in your truth.
You have more clarity in your daily life, and your path and purpose seem clearer.
You find it easier to stay present and grounded while finding balance and harmony amidst challenges.
You understand humanity as a whole better, including individuals, which can inspire you to create a ripple effect that will benefit others.
Summer is here, and that often means heat, traveling, and noise concerns. Here are some tips to keep in mind when it comes to your animals. Heat can be a factor, so think of ways you can bring the cool to your animals:
Refreshing kiddie pools and troughs make great cool-down time for dogs. You can hook up a misting system for your animals that cools the area down.
If you hose or bathe your horse, it’s better to squeegee the water off afterwards so their coat doesn’t retain the heat.
Special, elevated pet beds can help keep your dog or cat more cool.
Deshedding brushes or tools can help to remove the undercoat from dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses.
Keep in mind that grains can heat up the body, along with ‘hot’ proteins like chicken and lamb. Your animals may need a ‘time out’ from these during the hot months.
Edward Bach was a London pathologist, bacteriologist, and physician whose clinical experience showed that the cause of illness is linked to emotions. His research indicated that a positive state of well-being could be achieved through the energies found in flowers, bushes, trees, and special waters. He created the first flower essences in the 1930s. You may have heard of Rescue Remedy, a blend of five of his 39 essences, that can help calm both people and animals, especially in traumatic
Flower essences are created by placing a flower or part of a plant in water, placing it in sunlight, and allowing the water to take on the vibrational energies of that aspect of the plant. They work on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. If you can bring your pet’s body back into balance, called homeostasis, then behavioral or physical issues have the ability to be improved or resolved.
